Week 6

Wikipedia was never intended to be a one site stop for all the worlds accurate information. it is a community of input given by anyone who feels like leaving it. Wikipedia is incredibly helpful when you need some simple answer like the capitol of some country or when a movie came out but not for the ethics of a politician or the wrong doings of a company. The fact that it can be manipulated it what makes Wikipedia both great and unreliable, though the site itself does regulate itself and deletes obvious ruthless editing.

The idea of showing who edited the site should just prove that there is something there to be found but is being covered up by that company. If everything looks perfect chances are that something is being covered up and with this we can tell by who. However the company should also be able to monitor what is being said about them and should protect both themselves and their employees from ruthless editors.
