Marisa L. Dudiak's second-grade class from Frederick County, Md. were told to sign on to their classroom Web log to write about their field trip to a Native American farm. They wrote about what they learned from using the bow and arrow, playing in a tepee and seeing a buffalo. Though the quality of the writings were still of a second grade level, there was a greater responce from the whole class. even the quiet children wrote out their take on the trip coming alive more so on the blog than in calss.

by allowing schools access to the usefulness of the internest abilities such as blogs this forms a web of comunication between educators. Teachers is more out of touch areas can see how their own lesson plans compare to teachers in more urban environments. this allows for a bouncing of ideas from people of all parts of the state, and hopefully the country.

access
ACCESS intends to give provide schools with the technology they need to excel. It allows all students to experience the potential of computers to better themselves. It provides better courses, growth mentally and socially and aids in scheduling. Allowing students and teachers to be able to grow online.
The availability of course material to teachers that would otherwise be missed to the students allows for a spreading knowledge to those before unable. Students who before might have felt underprivileged now have more doors open to then than ever before. I believe that everyone should have an equal shot at life and and education to fuel that life, ACCESS helps that happen.
